Combat Medical Courses

Medical

Anomaly’s dedication to advancing Ukraine’s medical preparedness is deeply rooted in its mission to save lives and bolster the country’s integration into NATO. Through strategic partnerships with the United States and other NATO allies, Anomaly’s medical training unit aims to enhance Ukraine’s interoperability and efficiency in emergency response.

As trailblazers in this field, we have diligently trained over 28 military brigades, spanning various branches including the Armed Forces, National Guard, Security Service, and more. Our commitment to excellence has earned recognition from the Ukrainian government, leading to our involvement in advising the Armed Forces on crucial medical reforms.

Team

In the mosaic of Ukraine’s vibrant volunteer landscape, Anomaly stands out as a beacon of hope and action. Our diverse team comprises hundreds of dedicated volunteers hailing from over 12 countries and spanning the length and breadth of Ukraine. Each individual, like a unique drop in a vast ocean, brings their own skills, passion, and dedication to the collective mission of making Ukraine a better place.

At Anomaly, we believe in the power of grassroots efforts to effect positive change. Our volunteering opportunities extend across various spheres, reflecting the multifaceted needs of Ukrainian society. From the bustling streets of Kyiv to the tranquil shores of Odesa, our centers serve as hubs of altruism and community engagement.

Anomaly Helps Veterans

Our past initiatives for the veteran community have a strong foundation we are eager to build upon with new volunteers. Previously, we hosted free Sunday English courses and conversational classes specifically for veterans, ATO volunteers, and their families in Kyiv.

Alongside those educational sessions, we have organized regular volunteer outings and social gatherings such as Drinkin’ Bros Ukraine to connect members of the veteran community with each other, local citizens, and visiting authorities and embassy officials.

Building on these community connections, our broader network includes the “Caring Together” project, which has united over 1,000 mental health professionals, 10,000-plus trained counselors, and three physical rehabilitation centers. By pooling experience, skills, and resources across this network, we remain fully capable and eager to support and expand these vital programs.

Ecology

Anomaly has a strong history of protecting the Ukrainian environment through clean-up initiatives and project advocacy. Previously, we organized up to three clean-ups a month to minimize public littering while educating participants on waste impact and community project creation.

In addition, our framework is designed to lobby for ecological causes across Ukrainian cities, identifying harmful organizations and challenging them through targeted legislative advocacy.

Education

Education

Anomaly has previously offered free English lessons and workshops on various topics for adults and children. These sessions were designed to help adults develop personal responsibility and new employment opportunities, while expanding educational horizons for students.

Even for those who might not fit traditional eligibility criteria, Anomaly remains ready to support learners through dedicated training modules and practical classes.

Community

Anomaly continues to work closely with city administration and local community leaders to help solve everyday problems for Kyiv residents. Previously, Anomaly facilitated direct reporting tools for 100,000 residents in Kyiv’s poorest neighborhoods to connect with utility providers.

Through these ongoing collaborative efforts, Anomaly is committed to tackling daily challenges and empowering individuals to enhance the quality of life across our city.

Community
Children

Children

Anomaly has a proud history of supporting children, including children of veterans, political prisoners, and internally displaced persons. We have also previously before the main invasion connected foreign donors with an orphanage in Mariupol to help children find new homes, and collaborated closely with the local community police department in Kyiv to safeguard children’s rights.

Through advocacy and community efforts, we remain dedicated to protecting and supporting the youngest members of our society, creating safer and more nurturing environments whenever resources and volunteers allow.

Animals

Anomaly actively seeks volunteers who share our passion for addressing the pressing issue of stray animal overpopulation.

In our mission to combat this problem, Anomaly extends support to animal shelters across key cities like Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro. Through our collaborative efforts with dedicated volunteers, we work tirelessly to tackle the challenges associated with the overpopulation of stray animals.

By joining forces with us, volunteers not only contribute to the tangible impact of reducing stray animal populations but also become integral members of a community-driven movement dedicated to promoting animal welfare and fostering a more humane society for all creatures.
