Combat Medical Courses

Medical

Anomaly’s dedication to advancing Ukraine’s medical preparedness is deeply rooted in its mission to save lives and bolster the country’s integration into NATO. Through strategic partnerships with the United States and other NATO allies, Anomaly’s medical training unit aims to enhance Ukraine’s interoperability and efficiency in emergency response.

As trailblazers in this field, we have diligently trained over 28 military brigades, spanning various branches including the Armed Forces, National Guard, Security Service, and more. Our commitment to excellence has earned recognition from the Ukrainian government, leading to our involvement in advising the Armed Forces on crucial medical reforms.

In the mosaic of Ukraine’s vibrant volunteer landscape, Anomaly stands out as a beacon of hope and action. Our diverse team comprises hundreds of dedicated volunteers hailing from over 12 countries and spanning the length and breadth of Ukraine. At Anomaly, we believe in the power of grassroots efforts to effect positive change. Our volunteering opportunities extend across various spheres, reflecting the multifaceted needs of Ukrainian society. From the bustling streets of Kyiv to the tranquil shores of Odesa, our centers serve as hubs of altruism and community engagement.

Anomaly Helps Veterans

Veterans

Every Sunday, we offer free English courses and conversational classes specifically for veterans, ATO volunteers and their families in Kyiv.

We organize regular volunteer outings (our clean-up days) and social events (Drinkin’ Bros Ukraine) to connect members of the veteran community with each other, their fellow citizens, as well as officials and visitors from local authorities and embassies.

Through our project “Caring Together” we have united more than 1000 mental health professionals, 10,000+ trained counselors and 3 physical rehabilitation centers. The network shares experience, skills, and resources for the administration of people in Ukraine.

Ecology

Anomaly helps protect the Ukrainian environment by organizing clean-ups and advocating for environmental projects.

The organization holds up to 3 clean-ups a month to minimize littering in public spaces. During these events, our team helps participants learn about the environmental impact of waste (both locally and globally) and learn how to create similar projects on their own.

In addition, Anomaly helps to lobby for environmental and ecological related issues that arise in many Ukrainian cities. We identify organizations that contribute to environmental problems and fight them through legislation and lobbying.

Education

Education

Anomaly offers free English lessons and workshops on a variety of topics for both adults and child students.

We offer these free English lessons to any adult who needs help developing personal responsibility and opening up new employment opportunities. We  also offer these lessons to help any student expand their educational opportunities.

If you are an adult who does not quality for our free English lessons, not a veteran who does not qualify or a child who does not qualify, but are still interested in our free English lessons, Anomaly can still help you with training modules and practical classes.

Community

Anomaly works with the city administration and local community leaders to help solve everyday problems of Kyiv residents.

We facilitate faster resolution of local governance issues by providing reporting tools for 100,000 residents of Kyiv’s poorest neighborhoods, directly connecting them to local utility providers. We’ve assisted with resolving issues such as utility outages, potholes, and garbage piles.

Through our collaborative efforts with city administration and community leaders, Anomaly effectively addresses the daily challenges faced by Kyiv residents. By empowering individuals, we work together to enhance the quality of life in our city.

Children

Children

Children of veterans, political prisoners, Crimean Tatar exiles, and internally displaced persons may attend our free English classes and conversation clubs.

Anomaly also connects foreign donors with an orphanage in Mariupol to help children find a new family and home. Moreover, recognizing the importance of safeguarding children’s rights, we collaborate closely with the local community police department in Kyiv.

Through advocacy and collaborative efforts, we work tirelessly to ensure the protection and well-being of children, advocating for their rights and providing necessary support systems to create a safer and more nurturing environment for the youngest members of our society.

Animals

Anomaly actively seeks volunteers who share our passion for addressing the pressing issue of stray animal overpopulation.

In our mission to combat this problem, Anomaly extends support to animal shelters across key cities like Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro. Through our collaborative efforts with dedicated volunteers, we work tirelessly to tackle the challenges associated with the overpopulation of stray animals.

By joining forces with us, volunteers not only contribute to the tangible impact of reducing stray animal populations but also become integral members of a community-driven movement dedicated to promoting animal welfare and fostering a more humane society for all creatures.
