About Us

Anomaly Chairman David Plaster

OUR FOUNDER AND CHAIRMAN

David Plaster

David’s favorite way to describe himself is “a simple retiree”. After a career as a medic in the U.S. Army, David came to Ukraine in 2011 and soon decided to build a life here. He and other volunteers served as combat medics both on the Maidan and on the front lines in Donbas, and since then he has been working to make Ukraine a better place.

He founded Anomaly as an organizational center for his aspirations during the Maidan on December 1, 2013, and officially registered it as a Ukrainian NGO in 2016.
