What We Do

Anomaly Tac-Med is a Ukrainian volunteer initiative delivering NATO-aligned Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training for non-medical personnel and small-unit leaders operating in high-threat environments.

Our mission is simple and critical:
keep people alive and preserve life and limb when evacuation is delayed.

We focus on practical, battlefield-proven actions that can be executed under pressure—when seconds matter and higher medical care is not immediately available.

Our Origins

Founded in 2014 at the outset of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Anomaly Tac-Med was among the first teams to deliver NATO-aligned TCCC training inside Ukraine.

What began as an urgent response to frontline realities evolved into a scalable training framework, with protocols later adopted across Ukrainian units at scale.

Why We Exist

Modern warfare has fundamentally changed casualty care timelines.

  • Drone-contested environments delay evacuation

  • MEDEVAC is not always immediate or possible

  • The first minutes after injury determine survival

Outcome is decided at the point of injury.

We train individuals to take decisive, effective action before a medic or evacuation becomes available—preventing avoidable death and deterioration.

What We Teach

Our approach is deliberately conservative, practical, and execution-focused—skills that can be learned quickly and applied reliably under stress:

  • Catastrophic bleeding control
    Tourniquets, wound packing, and pressure techniques

  • Rapid casualty assessment
    Immediate evaluation and simple triage under combat conditions

  • Deterioration recognition
    Identifying critical changes and making correct escalation decisions

  • Casualty movement
    Safe, efficient evacuation fundamentals when movement is required
